Hi everyone! I’m super excited to release my Vintage Fall quilt pattern today! I’ve had so many requests for a fall quilt and I love how this one turned out! And I have a GIVEAWAY for one of you so make sure to read all the way to the bottom!
Fall always makes me think of falling leaves with all of the beautiful changing colors, apple cider, crisp cool air, and an annual trip to the pumpkin patch. And so I really wanted my vintage trucks to be hauling cute little pumpkins along with some fun fall foliage!
I used Farm House II fabric by Figtree for Moda. I also snuck in a few prints from their original Farm House line that I have been saving for a special project.
Vintage Fall Quilt Kit: Catching Stitches quilt shop has generously made Vintage Fall Quilt Kits as well if you’d like to make the same one I did! Make sure to stop by her shop and check it out!
And of course I used my Alphabitties to help keep all of the pieces for this project organized.
For the binding I used the Farm House II black cross print and love the pop it gives!
I also chose to do a swirl quilting pattern on it. It reminds me of falling leaves! I’m not a professional quilter, so the pattern isn’t perfect, but honestly, I love how it turned out, and love the imperfect and random swirls!
And of course, I added a lot of pumpkins to this quilt, because, what is fall without vintage trucks carting around pumpkins?
I also did a fun row of leaf sashing between the truck rows. I love the added colors and the little leaves are a perfect fall addition.

This is SO pretty! I can’t even begin to imagine all the work you put into creating and making this quilt! I’m so impressed that you know how to make quilt patterns too.
Pattern calls for a scant 1/4, can I do with a straight 1/4 inch??
All of my patterns say a scant 1/4″ because I find the pieces come together better that way. You can try a straight 1/4″ and it should be okay, it’s really just a hair difference.
Love, this quilt!
