Can’t wait to try this! Thank you for the tutorial.
How big is the piece of material for the cuff? I used a fat quarter and it’s way too big.
The cutting measurements are all in the download 🙂
Great tutorial and thank you for the pattern.
Erica,
I enjoyed the tutorial so much! Thank you for the pattern. Your instructions are very clear and easy to understand. CAN you please tell me what adorable newsprint fabric you used? I saw that it had Michigan on it and I am from Michigan. I would really enjoy using that fabric for the stocking..
Hi! Yes, it was from Sweetwater Fabric, I believe it’s from their Hometown Christmas collection.
What thickness is the fleece that you use for the stockings? They are so cute.

I have been searching for a stocking pattern I like. Some of them have an odd shape. Then I remembered that your patterns are always so easy to follow and checked to see if you had one. I’m so glad you did! It’s cute! Now I need to go make 3 stockings!
Thank you for sharing. Last Christmas, I made THIRTY SIX stockings. I need two more this year. I’ve searched for measurements for the top (where I can embroider names) and the hanger…. canNOT find measurements anywhere…,?? Can you add these, please! I can guess….like I did last year….but would like them the same!
Thank you. Audrey
Wow that’s a lot of stockings!! There is a link to the free PDF download in the post above, click that and all measurements are there 🙂
