Are you looking for a fun way to have your 3rd grade students practice their sight words? Look no further!
I’ve had a ton of requests for a manuscript version of my 3rd grade sight word sentences, so today I’m sharing the 3rd grade sight word manuscript sentence printables with you. (I have 3rd Grade Cursive Sight Word Sentences here.)
Each worksheet has the sight word along with a funny sentence. Students will practice tracing the word, reading the word several times, then writing it on their own.
They will also fill in a sentence using the word as well as practice reading the sentence.
Students will also cut out the letters then glue them on the sheet to spell the word correctly to complete a sentence. This not only makes the activity more hands-on, but it also helps with spelling practice.
I have also added letter tracing to this activity to help with handwriting practice.
Finally they will make up their own sentence using their newly learned sight word! The repetition along with the variety of activities really helps students remember their sight words.
This download includes 41 3rd grade level sight words from the Dolch sight word list.

These 3rd grade sentences look amazing! I will definitely be using these with my children.
Thanks for sharing and also for organizing the work by grade level. It’s great your children can meet this at their level or try to work ahead.
Blessings,

Thank you for creating this and sharing!
THANK YOU!!!!! All of your sight word sentences have really helped my 5-year learn to read. She has done them all and was so ready for this level. Now she can continue to learn more.
Would it be at all possible to get the template for the sight word worksheets? I would greatly appreciate it. We use these pages for helping the kids learn sight words but some words we do, don’t appear in any of your packages but the kids love these pages and they help them so much. If you can, my email is tervin@pesd92.org. If it is not possible, I understand.
Thank you
These are great! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you so much! I love these worksheets! Do you have a blank template where we can add our own words? Thanks again!
Thank you so much for sharing these awesome worksheets! I would also love to have a copy of the template to add our own words if you would be willing to share.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these worksheets. Do you have any plans on making sentence worksheets to go with the noun list of sight words? I use them to teach my son (who has down syndrome) how to read.
Thank you for the third grade site words in manuscript. It will be a big help.
