Hi everyone! Today I have a super yummy crockpot pork chop recipe for you! This one seriously doesn’t get any easier, and it was definitely a crowd pleaser for everyone at the Confessions household. And that is quite impressive since there is usually one person who isn’t thrilled with dinner.
So let’s get on to dinner shall we?
Ingredients:
- 4-6 bone in pork chops depending on your family size.
- 1 small can cream of mushroom soup (Can use cream of chicken as well)
- 1 can filled with water or milk depending on how creamy you like your gravy.
Method:
- Combine the soup with the milk or water in a bowl.
- Pour a bit of the soup into the bottom of your crockpot, then add a layer of pork chops (frozen or thawed is fine. Mine are usually frozen because I don’t plan ahead very well!)
- Pour more soup over that first layer, then add another layer of pork chops, another layer of soup, and another layer of pork chops. Finish your layers with a final layer of soup.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Serving instructions:
The pork chops will be VERY moist and tender, and will fall right off the bone! Place some in a plate then top with a little of the gravy mixture left in the crock pot. I like to serve this with mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie.
Alternative flavoring:
For a little more flavoring you can add in one dry mix packet of Ranch Dressing to the soup mixture! Yum!
So that’s it, my super easy, yummy, and comfort food recipe for any night of the week. I hope you enjoy it, leave a comment below if you try the recipe!

This is a basic crock pot recipe- people comaining need to understand they need to adjust amount of water etc. with the size of chops and other ingredients– I added potatoes, onions and carrots to the pot. All the veggies will be ready to eat when it’s all done! The more you add the better!
Making this again for the 2nd time. Used milk with the soup, added Parsley, Garlic Powder, and black pepper, this time. Family loved this the 1st time I made it, I’m hoping for the same this time!
I would like to pin this recipe or print it, could you add a pin it tag or a print feature to it please. Or maybe I missed it somewhere 😉
Hi Teresa,
Sorry I don’t always remember to put them in printable format. I’ve updated the post, so if you visit it again you should see a printable version at the bottom. You might have to refresh your browser window
Hi, I’m one of the grandparents of a dear 15 yr old homeschooled granddaughter. I am so glad to see your website. I just now trying the yummy sounding pork chops recipe. It sure smells delicious. I chopped onion & celery up and layered the chops with them. I mixed 1 envelope of onion soup mix and 1 Tbsp of chicken broth base with 2 cans Cream of mushroom soup. Our household likes lots of sauce or gravy with meals. Yumm! This will be served with mashed potatoes and a green salad. Yellow watermelon for dessert. A day for trying out new foods. Lol
Tried this tonight and it didn’t work out. ;( I had a similar experience to those who ended up with a soupy, bland mess. ;(
I agree with Melinda. I’m going to get rid of my crock pot.
I made it just like the alternative recipe/seasoning suggested! I used two thick pork chops (bone in, thawed, weighing 1.25lbs). 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 3/4 of a can of milk, and a packet of ranch seasoning mix. Mixed the soup, milk, and seasoning together and layered it per the directions. I cooked it on low in the crock pot for about 5 hrs and it was delicious and super tender! Both the hubby and I loved it… Will make again for sure!!!
Just put the boneless chops, mushrooms, sliced onion and garlic , and sliced potatoes, in the crockie. Then layered with the soup mixed with 1/2 can water and one cup sour cream. Also pepper and a bit of salt. I’m hoping for a success!
i MAKE THIS WITH A BOTTLE OF LOW FAT ITALIAN DRESSING POURED OVER FROZEN CHOPS AND SLOW COOK AS DIRECTED! wILL MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!!
So just the pork chops and Italian dressing correct?
Mine turned out gross ! Like curled milk
My variation. My mother always told me browning the meat first will always make a difference, improve the taste vastly. So in advance I separately browned the 6 nice size pork chops with bone (as bone always enhances flavor). I also browned the onions. I used the can of soup, then 1/2 cup pork broth and 1/2 cup of white wine. I am a big believer of good spices to enhance a dish and used garlic powder, rosemary, bay leaves and thyme in addition to salt and pepper. Lastly added peppers and mushrooms. Ummmmm………
