Greetings readers! As promised, I have some more sight word sentence printables for you! Today I am sharing First Grade Sight Word Sentence worksheets.
Each one has the word along with a funny sentence. Students will practice tracing the word, reading the word, then writing it on their own.
Students will also cut out the letters and spell the word correctly to complete their sentence, great for fine-motor skills and spelling practice! Next they will write the word to complete the sentence.
Finally they will make up their own sentence using their newly learned sight word! The repetition along with the variety of activities really helps students remember their sight words!
This download includes 41 First grade level sight words from the Dolch sight word list.

More Sight Word fun!
Hi, I’m Joy from Malawi-Africa. I just wanted to thank you for these great resources that my class is enjoying. I love this site a lot and it’s helping my students to learn in a variety of ways!
I am so grateful for your generosity in sharing these worksheets. I love the multi-layered way they reinforce each word, plus the fine motor practice from cutting and pasting the letters. I use these with the firsties I tutor. I wish I had found them when my kiddos were little! You’re awesome, Erica!
Amazing resources! Thank you soo much, they really help!!
OMGoodness, during this lockdown, you have saved my life with your wonderful material! Love the cut outs down the bottom. Truly an amazing website!!
Yay! So glad they’ve been helpful 🙂
I came across your site and thank you so much for making the material easy available and free. With the current situation, just like every school in the county, my children’s school was not prepared for an online curriculum. I am not pleased with the online curriculum, so I am supplementing with what I can find. Both my husband have to work during this time as we are considered essential workers in California (not in the medical field), so these have been such a blessing. Thank you again. May you be blessed abundantly for generous assistance to parents all over the world.
Hah!!! I just read about you under about us. God never makes a mistake. I was guided to come to your site. You are a believer and so am I. You are now on my prayer list for more blessings to come your way in Jesus name.
thank you so much for this resource. I have a struggling 1st grader and this has truly been a blessing.
Thank you!
