  1. We have been told out autistic son would benefit so much by having an Ipad, especially for his speech therapy. I’ve looked into seeing if we could purchase one but the cost is just too much on what my hubbie and I receive on disability. This would be SUCH a blessing in so many ways because we could also take homeschooling assignments with us to various appointments we have to go to throughout the month. Right now, just about weekly we end up missing a day of schoolwork to one appointment or another. Sometimes we end up skipping schoolwork two or three days a week because of it. I know that if we could benefit from an I pad that much, there has to be others that could use one just as much. Thanks for thinking of giving away such a magnanimous gift to a homeschool family.

  2. Oh’ Wow…. This would be such a great gift for my kids!

I am a homeschooler and I would love to have access to all of the great I app out there 🙂

This is not something we can afford so, thanks for the chance to enter your giveaway, Erica <3

  3. I’ve been reading comments above about how much an iPad or iPad mini would help in your homeschooling. When my husband and I were debating purchasing one, he said we should think on it if it would benefit school, but if not, we couldn’t justify the purchase. I couldn’t come up with one idea/use for it. This is my first year schooling so I would LOVE to know what I am missing – what do you use your iPad/Kindle for for school?

    1. Ditto on the apps. But you can also access the web, so any online programs (VideoText Algebra for the iPad) are accessible as well when you are on the road. You can download books to be read and my son, who has to listen to mozart periodically throughout the day for his neurodevelopment, can just plug in the earphones and listen to his music or audio books no matter where we are. OR he can take the Kindle (which is what we have) and curl up on a beanbag to do the same at the house.

  4. Oh how blessed would we be to win an iPad mini!! Unfortunately, we cannot afford to purchase one, so winning one would bless us tremendously! Also, we homeschool, so this is a great tool to have for the littles! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway and a chance to win, Erica!
