Okay everyone, get ready for another AWESOME giveaway from All About Spelling! Due to the wonderful response from my last giveaway, Marie Rippel from AAS has offered to giveaway one $50 Gift Card to one of you! If you haven’t tried it yet, oh my goodness, you are soooo missing out! We started using this curriculum last year and absolutely love love love it!
I personally think they should have named it All About Phonics because it really is a phonics, spelling and reading program in my opinion. I wrote a review of it awhile back you can read my original All About Spelling Review here.
This year I started working with Tinkerbell (Kindergarten) and the AAS Level 1 program. She’s doing a great job, we’re taking it a little slow to make sure she gets all of the phonics rules, special sounds, and spelling rules down pat. So far I’m really impressed with what she’s able to do already, and the phonics practice has really helped her reading as well!
With All About Spelling, kids learn why words are spelled as they are. They drill the phonics rules until they are mastered and that is what has made the difference for us. I noticed a marked improvement in both the reading and writing skills of my children after starting this program. Now when they go to spell or sound out a word, I’ll remind them of the rules they’ve learned and they are able to figure it out on their own.
What’s the Cost? The Teachers Manual/Student Kit Combo’s are priced from $29.95-$39.95 depending on which level. They also sell the items separately. I’ve had a few people ask, and really you DO need the teacher’s manual. The student kit includes flashcards and phonics cards etc, but the lessons are in the Teacher’s Manual, so unlike other curriculum, you cannot teach without it.
What do you need? To teach Level 1, you will need the All About Spelling Level 1 and either the Basic or Deluxe Interactive kit, which contains non-consumable items like the letter tiles that you will use in all levels of the program.

Hi,
If I may be so honest, we financially can’t afford to buy it right now. We are a family of 6 and its my first year homeschooling my 5 year old:) And I would really love to have this curriculum! Been trying to figure out how to get it! This would be an amazing blessing, seriously!
Thank you!
I need a phonics program for my 4 children and don’t have enough money to purchase one.
I would love a gift card so I can try AAS!
I liked them on facebook.
I have been wanting this program for quite some time. We would love it. Thanks!
I tweeted.
I currently use this program and LOVE it! I’d like to order All About Reading.
We are using Level 1 right now and both my girls love it! My youngest will ask to do a lesson lol!!
I would love to win so I could purchase Level 2
We are using AAS this year and love it! Would love to have the gift card to purchase the next level.
This is my first year of homeschooling. We have tried workbooks for spelling/phonics and it was great at first, but now my daughter wants nothing to do with any of it. She is not a worksheet type of learner. She would definitely thrive with a hands-on, multi-modal program. I have heard so many great things about All About Spelling, and i love that it is firmly grounded in Orton-Gillingham, but the cost is what is stopping me from trying it right now. Like so many others, we have been hit hard by the recession.
It would be great to have a chance to try AAS and hopefully reawaken the motivation in my daughter that seems to be lost.
