I’m really excited about today’s giveaway! One of my fellow blogger buddies, Ami from Walking by the Way contacted me to see if I could help her out. She has put together a darling shop called Pocketful of Rosies, and every penny that you spend in her shop will be given to her dear friend’s family to help bring their Ethiopian daughter, Biruk Abigail, home! How could I say no? What a wonderful cause to support, and really it’s no sacrifice seeing as how her accessories are absolutely beautiful! Not to mention that your funds will help bless a family and a beautiful little girl named Abigail.
My girls were thrilled to see these little beauties arrive! So cute! And I must say that the quality is wonderful. Her store has clips, barrettes, bobby pins, earrings, and headbands that are all adorned with beautiful handmade resin flowers! The clips are nice and strong, and even stay in the Teeny Tot’s fine hair!
Here is a sneak peak at some of her products! I absolutely love the creativity of her names as well…what little girl wouldn’t want some Fairy Gifts or a Rosey Posey Barrette?
These little blue ones are my favorites! They’re called Bring Back My Bonnie To Me.
Here’s a similar one on the Teeny Tot:
You can read more on why Ami has started this fund at Walking By The Way. The process is almost over and Ami will be closing the shop soon, but she wanted to offer a freebie to one of my readers as a thank you for your support! And if you’re so lead to help out this wonderful family, feel free to shop a little as well!

As someone who was planning to begin an Ethiopian adoption this fall before we found out that surprise we were pregnant, so the adoption is being put off until we’ve got the newborn thing under control I would love to support their family by lots of prayer and by purchasing some adorable items from Pocketful of Rosies! We’re expecting a little girl in November, and cute accessories for a good cause? I’m so there!
These clips are beautiful and what a wonderful cause they support. My little ballerina would love them! Anything to help out a fellow family following God’s call to care for the orphan (James 1:27) – we are in the process of getting our LOA right now.
“Liked” pocketful of rosies on facebook and let them know I found them through you!
I love the deep color of the rose posey barette!
I like Fuchsia Posey Barrette. I already have tons of her stuff and I love it! it was great to help her out!
It is always good to help people out when you can!
I tweeted about the giveaway! @mdcteacher
I really like the bobby pins when used in a braid! (wishing my hair was long enough!) The earrings are also very creative.
I “liked” Pocketful of Rosies on facebook and mentioned you as well 🙂
How inspiring that she created this store for her friend – she was inspired to DO something tangible. It reminds us that even the smallest gesture can reap big rewards. I want to help this young child come home to her forever family – no more waiting!
