I’m really excited about today’s giveaway! One of my fellow blogger buddies, Ami from Walking by the Way contacted me to see if I could help her out. She has put together a darling shop called Pocketful of Rosies, and every penny that you spend in her shop will be given to her dear friend’s family to help bring their Ethiopian daughter, Biruk Abigail, home! How could I say no? What a wonderful cause to support, and really it’s no sacrifice seeing as how her accessories are absolutely beautiful! Not to mention that your funds will help bless a family and a beautiful little girl named Abigail.
My girls were thrilled to see these little beauties arrive! So cute! And I must say that the quality is wonderful. Her store has clips, barrettes, bobby pins, earrings, and headbands that are all adorned with beautiful handmade resin flowers! The clips are nice and strong, and even stay in the Teeny Tot’s fine hair!
Here is a sneak peak at some of her products! I absolutely love the creativity of her names as well…what little girl wouldn’t want some Fairy Gifts or a Rosey Posey Barrette?
These little blue ones are my favorites! They’re called Bring Back My Bonnie To Me.
Here’s a similar one on the Teeny Tot:
You can read more on why Ami has started this fund at Walking By The Way. The process is almost over and Ami will be closing the shop soon, but she wanted to offer a freebie to one of my readers as a thank you for your support! And if you’re so lead to help out this wonderful family, feel free to shop a little as well!

What a great cause. Children are a blessing from the Lord.
This had me in tears. We have adopted three of our children and they have been such a blessing to us. The reason I found this so wonderful though is because last year when we started our adoption process again we got a call only 2 months later that they had a baby boy for us. My husband told me that he didn’t think we could take him because we didn’t have the money yet (we had expected to wait a while for our child). We prayed and decided if God brought the little boy to us he would bring the funds, and he did through several wonderful people we had the first half of our placement fee in less than a week. I am moved that Ami is one of those wonderful types of people who sees her friends heart for adoption and is helping to make it happen with funding.
I love the headbands-all of them. I think they would look cute on either of my daughters but especially in my little one who likes to wear headbands and do her hair “poofy” (afro).
We have a daughter from Ethiopia too! These would be sooo darling in her hair!
I love the reasoning behind her cause!
Um, hello, cuteness and families? What more could you ask for? 🙂
