Oh my goodness! If you haven’t tried All About Spelling yet you are soooo missing out! We started using this product last year and absolutely love love love it!

I personally think they should have named it All About Phonics because it really is a phonics, spelling and reading program in my opinion. I wrote a review of it awhile back you can read my All About Spelling Review here.

I was previously using a different spelling program and my daughter was getting 100% on all her tests. I thought she was doing great until I realized that she was actually just memorizing her list for the week, but then later when asked to recall a word she should have learned it was long gone.

With All About Spelling, kids learn why words are spelled as they are. They drill the phonics rules until they are mastered and that is what has made the difference for us. I noticed a marked improvement in both the reading and writing skills of my children after starting this program. Now when they go to spell or sound out a word, I’ll remind them of the rules they’ve learned and they are able to figure it out on their own.

The lesson plans are well laid out and actually scripted for you if you like that. They also include hands on activities to make it a little more fun. I have a few Spelling Practice Ideas on my blog as well if you’re looking for more ideas to make spelling more hands-on and fun.

  1. I would love to win a free copy of All About Spelling Level 1 plus the Deluxe Interactive kit!. We struggle with spelling here. I think we would do better if there was a reason behind the spelling.

  2. This program would work great for my daughter who has been struggling with reading and spelling. As I have looked into different programs I think this one would benefit her the most with her learning style. Thanks for the chance to win this program.

  3. Wow, I think this would be a great tool for Zane my soccer coaches son. I recently have taken on to be his homeschooling coach. Why do I say coach, very simple. I in no way have taken any classes in formal education . I am however, the coach of this family who cheers them on in life. Reminds them to not give up and that practice only makes it better not perfect. Perfect is for Lord how sends strength for me to go on. At any point, as I homeschool these boy the one that needs it the most is Zane. He would benefit since he is starting Kinder this year. His parent informed me that they paid someone who they thought they could count on. Instead the llittle guy barely know his basic. I know tha that a tool like this will only enrich him further in his education.

  4. I would love to win this because I have two girls who would be eager to use this curriculum this year. Reading is a big struggle for one of my daughters and anything that would help her make the connections would be awesome!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. I would love to win this! It is exactly what I’ve been attempting to do on my own. Oh the cutting and laminating all of the little letters! My husband may actually get to see me again. 😉 I’ve been printing out my own word family pages to go along with it. To have it all there and ready to go would be fantastic. My Kindergartner and K4 who follows right along with everything he does would love this.
