Hi everyone! Welcome to DAY 1 of my 10,000 subscribers celebration!
It’s such an honor to have you all reading my blog and I am so completely humbled that God can use something like my blog to bless other families!
So in order to celebrate and thank you all, I’m doing a 10,000 Subscribers Celebration with 10 giveaways in 10 days! I know, CRAZY RIGHT? But I think it’ll be fun, and you all will end up with some super cool prizes that will hopefully bless your families! Make sure to visit each day to enter to win the awesome prizes we have coming up!
I’m kicking off my celebration with one of my new favorite books Reshaping It All! I absolutely adore Candace Cameron Bure and Co-Author Darlene Schacht! So when I found out about this new book, I just had to get it! And that’s a lot coming from me, I’m not a huge reader, so I pick my books carefully!
Although it’s been promoted as a weight-loss book, the title reveals that it’s really about reshaping your entire life! In Reshaping It All Candace candidly shares her testimony, and how she embraced a healthier lifestyle by moving faith to the forefront. She encourages women to find their worth in the eyes of God.
The bonus side effects off reshaping your lifestyle is that you are motivated to be in better physical and spiritual fitness which naturally leads to weight loss and beautiful the gift of self-control.
I received the book and sat down to flip through. I ended up half way through it before I even realized what had happened, and like I said I’m not a big fan of reading…I know, I know…I’m a homeschooler who doesn’t like to read…God can use all types ;o)
Since I’m an idea type of gal, I was very happy to see that Candace also shares some tangible things to help guide you. At the end of each chapter you’ll find a section called “The Pantry”, that’s filled full of ideas, advice, and encouragement.
- A Slice of Advice: Candace’s response to personal fan mail
- A Pinch of Practicality: practical application ideas
- Food For Thought: Supporting Scriptures to inspire you
- The Candy Dish: Inspirational quotes
- From My Stove to Yours: Recipes

Hey, Erica,
I feel like, I know you, because I have followed your blog for about a year now. Thank you for constantly encouraging me on this adventure of homeschooling!! 🙂 I’m often motivated to push myself to more creativity in my home, because of you. This book looks great. I would love to read it, because I have struggled in this area my whole life. I do believe that God wants us to give Him every aspect of our lives, including our food!!
May God bless you as you continue to serve Him daily,
Christa

Candace came to our church with her husband and my daughter and I were so excited to hear them after both of us watching her on TV. She was such a joy and so friendly when we met her after the service. We would both love to read her book and share in some of her wisdom.
