Reshaping It ALL

Hi everyone! Welcome to DAY 1 of my 10,000 subscribers celebration!

It’s such an honor to have you all reading my blog and I am so completely humbled that God can use something like my blog to bless other families!

10day1

So in order to celebrate and thank you all, I’m doing a 10,000 Subscribers Celebration with 10 giveaways in 10 days! I know, CRAZY RIGHT? But I think it’ll be fun, and you all will end up with some super cool prizes that will hopefully bless your families! Make sure to visit each day to enter to win the awesome prizes we have coming up!

I’m kicking off my celebration with one of my new favorite books Reshaping It All! I absolutely adore Candace Cameron Bure and Co-Author Darlene Schacht! So when I found out about this new book, I just had to get it! And that’s a lot coming from me, I’m not a huge reader, so I pick my books carefully!

Although it’s been promoted as a weight-loss book, the title reveals that it’s really about reshaping your entire life! In Reshaping It All Candace candidly shares her testimony, and how she embraced a healthier lifestyle by moving faith to the forefront. She encourages women to find their worth in the eyes of God.

The bonus side effects off reshaping your lifestyle is that you are motivated to be in better physical and spiritual fitness which naturally leads to weight loss and beautiful the gift of self-control.

I received the book and sat down to flip through. I ended up half way through it before I even realized what had happened, and like I said I’m not a big fan of reading…I know, I know…I’m a homeschooler who doesn’t like to read…God can use all types ;o)

Since I’m an idea type of gal, I was very happy to see that Candace also shares some tangible things to help guide you. At the end of each chapter you’ll find a section called “The Pantry”, that’s filled full of ideas, advice, and encouragement.

  • A Slice of Advice: Candace’s response to personal fan mail
  • A Pinch of Practicality: practical application ideas
  • Food For Thought: Supporting Scriptures to inspire you
  • The Candy Dish: Inspirational quotes
  • From My Stove to Yours: Recipes

  1. It was only until recent that I found out Candace was a Christian. I was such a fan of her growing up and had the best bangs because of D.J Tanner. I love to see someone coming from the entertainment industy profess their faith in such a bold way. I would love to read her book that was so clearly inspired by her walk with God and all that He is doing through her!

  2. I’m an email subscriber. I watched the Cameron children grow up on tv. I’m proud to see how they’ve turned out as adults which comes from the way they were brought up. I was born, baptized, and raised catholic. A little over 10 years ago I started going to my brother in laws church. It started out as a baptist church with a few hundred people in it’s congregation. Over the years it has grown to over 1k. Since I wasn’t raised by the teachings of the bible, it took me awhile to grasp this new, exciting, inspiring way to learn about christ. During one of our services our sr pastor showed a film clip that coincided with that days sermon. The clip was from the movie “Fireproof”, yes, staring Kirk Cameron. I was so taken by that clip, I purchased the DVD. It’s without a boubt one of the most inspirational movies I’ve ever seen. I’m proud to say that I’ve grown spiritually and have also excepted jesus christ as my savior, and went througj the classes and was baptized at the age of 60, yes 60. There is no age limit to wanting to be baptized and become closer to our lord. I would be honored to win a copy of “Reshaping It All”. One can never get to much inspiration. Congradulations on what I’m sure is a very inispiring and moving book.

  3. I know that I need God to help me in my struggle with my weight. I would love to have this book for extra encouragement to lean on Him and to encourage others to do the same. Thanks for the opportunity!!

  4. I would love to win one of your books. I like to request books from my local library instead of buying them. I saw that they did not have the book and asked if they would buy it and guess what, they did! I am waiting for it to be ready to be checked out but it would be nice to have my own copy to write in.
