Reshaping It ALL

Hi everyone! Welcome to DAY 1 of my 10,000 subscribers celebration!

It’s such an honor to have you all reading my blog and I am so completely humbled that God can use something like my blog to bless other families!

10day1

So in order to celebrate and thank you all, I’m doing a 10,000 Subscribers Celebration with 10 giveaways in 10 days! I know, CRAZY RIGHT? But I think it’ll be fun, and you all will end up with some super cool prizes that will hopefully bless your families! Make sure to visit each day to enter to win the awesome prizes we have coming up!

I’m kicking off my celebration with one of my new favorite books Reshaping It All! I absolutely adore Candace Cameron Bure and Co-Author Darlene Schacht! So when I found out about this new book, I just had to get it! And that’s a lot coming from me, I’m not a huge reader, so I pick my books carefully!

Although it’s been promoted as a weight-loss book, the title reveals that it’s really about reshaping your entire life! In Reshaping It All Candace candidly shares her testimony, and how she embraced a healthier lifestyle by moving faith to the forefront. She encourages women to find their worth in the eyes of God.

The bonus side effects off reshaping your lifestyle is that you are motivated to be in better physical and spiritual fitness which naturally leads to weight loss and beautiful the gift of self-control.

I received the book and sat down to flip through. I ended up half way through it before I even realized what had happened, and like I said I’m not a big fan of reading…I know, I know…I’m a homeschooler who doesn’t like to read…God can use all types ;o)

Since I’m an idea type of gal, I was very happy to see that Candace also shares some tangible things to help guide you. At the end of each chapter you’ll find a section called “The Pantry”, that’s filled full of ideas, advice, and encouragement.

  • A Slice of Advice: Candace’s response to personal fan mail
  • A Pinch of Practicality: practical application ideas
  • Food For Thought: Supporting Scriptures to inspire you
  • The Candy Dish: Inspirational quotes
  • From My Stove to Yours: Recipes

  1. I am interested in winning this book since I am trying the be the one to RESHAPE my entire household. LOL! I am striving to set things in the right direction and your blog seems to help me do this. You always have just what we need at the right time of need.

  2. Since moving four years ago, I’ve failed to finish unpacking my 3 car garage (and have added so much stuff to it that we currently can not park one car in there), had a baby, gone back to grad school, and put on the pounds. As a minister’s wife and homeschooling mom, I know there is a connection between my being unorganized/overcommitted and “reshaping it all”. This may be the kink in the wall that brings it all tumbling down so that I can begin to rebuild with a better foundation. 🙂
