Educational Insights: Spin USA Giveaway

With the launch of my Road Trip USA curriculum, I found this wonderful game from Educational Insights called Spin USA.

Spin USA is a fast-paced, fun way to sharpen your geography skills. It comes with a spinner, 100 state and capital cards, 4 USA map game boards, and game pegs for each player. One player pushes the spinner, then everyone sees which card their pointer is facing. Then they have until the timer runs out to find the state on their game board. The first one to get all their pegs to the finish line wins!

It will be a great review game for my Road Trip USA curriculum. You can easily pull out the cards that you’ve learned as you go and play with those.

Plus everyone loves to press the spinner, even the Teeny Tot got involved. Although she was really more of a hindrance at this juncture. Spinning before were ready, tossing her pegs around, mixing up the cards, that type of thing.

Even with all the craziness we had a good time. I love that the cards have the state locations on the backs. Its easy to check their answers, and since we haven’t officially learned our states locations, I let them use the backs of the cards to see where the states were located. I was surprised at how much they learned just by playing!
