Today I have the privilege of reviewing Time 4 Learning ! I’ve always wanted to try their program as it looked fun and educational!
Time 4 Learning is an online homeschool curriculum that combines education with interactive fun. It’s great for increasing computer skills as well! They have lesson plans for ages Preschool – Eight Grade. We reviewed the 1st and 2nd grade levels. You can see their scope and sequence here as well as try a demo lesson.
The curriculum levels include coverage of:
- Language Arts
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
I like how the lessons are interactive and fun. This particular lesson was working on “ight” words.
They also have topics you can pick, this one was on fire, and my son had to answer riddles to unlock puzzle pieces. Once he answered each question he could move the puzzle piece over to the green box. Great for increasing logical thinking skills!
There are also reading lessons of course, if your child doesn’t know a word they can click on it and the computer will read it to them.
One of my daughters favorite sections was the space exploration! She learned about planets and the sun in this one.
They also have a parent login page where you can view the progress and activities that your child has completed.
Overall we had a great time with this and look forward to using it as a supplement to our core studies! Just to make life a little easier, (you know I’m all about that!) I created a “Time 4 learning” workbox card for you! Click on the image below to download.
