Hi everyone! I wanted to share my Preschool Christmas Activities for this year! We’re officially on break for school now, but we’re still having fun with preschool games, Christmas crafts (don’t worry, I’ll share!), holiday baking, Advent activities and Christmas Around the World! (I know, not really a break huh!)
So here’s what we have going on for Preschool this month:

Roll a Christmas Tree: The game is simple, cut out the pieces (they’re on pg2 not shown here). Roll a die and place the piece of the puzzle indicated by the number rolled. Its a fun way to practice number recognition skills! I like these fun Giant Soft Dice
Candy Cane Counting: You can laminate these then write the number in the box, or if your child isn’t quite ready for writing, they can use the little number tiles on the last page.
Large Floor Numbers: I made these large floor numbers so that we can play a hopscotch type game. I call out a number and she jumps to it! You could also have them put the cards in numerical order. Today, she put them in a row in random order then said the number as she hopped on each one. These go from 1-20 for my K4 kiddo!
Ornament Number Cards: I use these with either mini-clothes pins, colored paper clips, or put a hole in them and have her attach chain links to them. Whatever you use, just have them put on the correct amount for the number on the card. These are also good for putting in numerical order. We put the correct amount of dominoes on each card based on its number.
Christmas Pre-writing practice: I laminate this and use with Expo Dry Erase Markers for pre-writing practice skills.
Christmas Star Counting: Simply count the ornaments on each tree, then place the correct star on top!
Candy Cane Lacing Card: Laminate and cut out then hole punch every inch or so. Use yarn or shoe laces to practice lacing skills!
Scavenger Hunt: Fill your box with things that represent Christmas Time!
Christmas Magnet Page: I use this with a cookie sheet and these pom-pom magnets I made from pom-poms and self-sticky magnets from the craft isle in Wal-mart. I also use these magnets from Amazon: Power Magnets, 0.75 inch Diameter, Assorted Colors
Candy Cane Poem and coloring page: Read the cute poem about Jesus and color the candy cane!
Christmas Cutting Practice: Print on regular copy paper then practice cutting along the lines provided.
Christmas Color By Number: Using the color key, color in the tree!
Christmas Do-A-Dot Page: We use Do-a-Dot Art Markers with this!
Christmas Pattern Activity: Use the game pieces to complete the pattern activity.
Candy Cane Color puzzles: Cut out each candy cane, then cut them in half for a color matching puzzle. Make sure to discuss colors of each candy cane when done!
Candy Cane Size Sort: Cut out each piece then put in order, smallest to largest.
Christmas Puzzle: Laminate and cut along the lines for a fun preschool puzzle.

Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful Christmas Season!
Thanks for creating and sharing your wonderful activities pack! I've never seen a Christmas magnet page before – great idea! I just featured your page on the Living Montessori Now Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow
I cant seem to get the link to download it to work….is there any other way I can get this? Thanks
MELISSA: I'd need to know what problem you are having to help you out. Can you email me at homeschoolerconfessions at gmail dot com please with specifics? Thanks!
Erica,Just wanted you to know that today, we are having three little homeschool friends over to our home for a playdate / homeschool date and that we are going to do a few of these pages and talk about the origin of the Christmas tree coming from Germany. Then, we are going to make and decorate some gingerbread lollipops. I am not adding new posts to my blog until this weekend, as I have a huge post up that talks about discounts, freebies, and giveaways (and I have mentioned your awesome blog and have several links to you throughout this massive post, BTW), but then, over the weekend, when I do new blog posts, I will add photos of us using a few of your sheets from this packet and making our lollipops and will link back to your post here. Thanks so much for your generosity! We just love your creations:)Have a happy day today,Colleen
Hey, I kind of have a weird request. I love this printable and desperately want it . . .but it's the 4Shared link that I don't understand. Here's why: I'm a military wife in Japan, and because my ip address is Japan the whole 4Shared website comes up in Japanese!!! So except for a few romanji (English) words I can't read a thing. I have NO idea what it is and NO idea what I'm downloading to my computer when I hit the download button and NO idea how to actually get your printable! This happens with random websites, no clue why because it doesn't happen with every one, just certain ones, and for some reason it's happening here. If you could just explain what this is–is it a software, do I need it to get the printable, is the printable free or am I agreeing to purchase it, etc–I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry for the weirdness.
NEVER MIND!! I figured it out. 😀 Thanks for doing this! Merry Christmas!
Thanks a lot. Happy Christmas. Blessings, Daisy xx
We have had so much fun with this today. And my DD asked if we could do some more tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
I was wondering if you had any plans for a Thanksgiving pack. We’re going to my family for Thanksgiving and although we’re technically taking a school break, I thought it would be fun to take a pack of stuff with us to show my parents, etc. Obviously, any week would work, I just thought a Thanksgiving pack would be awesome 🙂
I was planning ahead and wanting to print some of these off but I can’t get it to download correctly, could you please check the link? Thanks for all that you do!
