I just found these super fun Color Cubes at my local teacher supply store today and had to get them! While they come with fun design ideas, unfortunately, they do NOT come with cards for my preschooler to copy.
Since I didn’t think she could handle looking at an image and re-producing it quite yet, I made some cards for her and of course, have them to share with you!
I made 8 cards for her to play with, I printed them double-sided (so I only used 4 sheets of cardstock) then I laminated them for durability. Here’s a peek at the cards:
seriously, i'm drooling!!!!
I saw these at Lakeshore a few weeks back and restrained myself from buying them LOL – now I'm going to have to go get them because your cards are just too awesome!thanks!
Thank you! These look so fun…I had to get them 🙂
Such a great idea. I need to get me some of those. My daughter would love to work with those 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂
These look like so much fun!!! Thank you for sharing the printables…now I just have to get a set of those blocks :0)
What a fun find and a great idea to make them more accessible for her now. I haven't gone into the teacher supply store near me yet because I'm so afraid of how much money I'll want to spend! Maybe around the holidays I will treat myself to some Christmas shopping (well, not shopping for me, but it will still feel like a treat). 🙂 PS Visiting from Preschool Corner.
I ordered these because I loved your cards, but I am disappointed with them. Many of the magnets fell off and I made sure to follow the directions when sticking them on. Did you glue yours on?I love your site and hard work. What an incredible dedicated mom you are. Thanks, Tina
Anonymous: I'm sorry you're having issues with them, no I didn't glue they came with the magnets on already so I didn't have to stick them on. We haven't had any issues, can you see if you can return it for another set maybe that one was defective?
are your cards still available? I can't seem to download them and think the cubes would make a nice Christmas gift idea. love your site, thank you for sharing all your great stuff!!!!
I just came back and searched your archives for this post, just bought the cubes for my daughter! I printed off the cards – they are FABULOUS, thanks so much!!! If you ever have time I would love to see more of these, or a tutorial on how you did it (I have photoshop, just no idea how to start something like this!)… your talent amazes me! (I have no idea how you find time to do all that you do and share it all with us – but know it's appreciated, THANKS!)
