Seriously, this is SOOOOO easy it’s almost not fair to call it cooking! These things are super yummy and if I were you I’d double the batch for sure. I don’t have any pics of the final product, mainly because there were none left, little fingers snatched them as I pulled them out of the oven.
Ready for the recipe?
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter (I use Skippy Natural)
- 1 cup sugar (Can sub. 1/2 c agave or raw honey)
- 1 egg, beaten
- fork or cookie press
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and roll into 1” balls and place on cookie sheet a2-3” apart. Flatten with fork in ‘X’ pattern as usual. Bake at 350º for approx. 10 minutes, watch as cooking times may vary and they burn easily!
OPTIONAL: Recruit one of your kids and break out the cookie press! (I have a Pampered Chef Cookie Press)
Hand over the cookie gun press and stand back while your enthusiastic helper has at it!
Make sure to cool a couple minutes before moving the cookies to the rack where they will magically disappear while you are pressing the next batch:
Enjoy! Now go mix another batch because I know you didn’t listen to me when I said to make double!
Shout out: This recipe comes from a good friend of mine, so a big thanks to Debbie!
