This craft is super easy and produces beautiful results!
It was also the Teeny Tiny Tot’s first craft! (Usually we do crafts while she’s sleeping, you can image why…) I have to say she was thrilled to be involved! And she did an excellent job.
Supplies:
-
Contact Paper
-
Tissue Paper
-
Scissors
-
Sharpie
-
Tape (to hold contact paper down while you work)
Step 1: Take backing off of clear contact paper, and lay sticky side up. Secure to counter with tape.
Step 2: Place lots of colorful pieces of tissue paper all over the contact paper.
Step 3: Cut another piece of Contact paper that’s the same size and place it sticky side down on top of your tissue paper covered contact paper. Draw desired shape on with a sharpie, and cut out objects.
Step 5: Hang on window for display! (We used scotch tape to stick it on the window) We made eggs and crosses to celebrate Easter, but you could easily do any design you want!
Happy Easter!
Oh that is so neat! Blaze would love this! happy Easter!
I just found your blog today from a link at Chasing Cheerios and I really enjoyed visiting! You have so many great ideas, I'm sure I'll be back often. I'm also a Christian homeschooling digiscrapper. 🙂

This is a great idea! You can do so many things – like spring butterflies. I once did a craft and it was similar but the kids used blue and green pieces of tissue paper and then there were small pieces of construction paper in the shape of fish and water plants for a cool aquarium / ocean craft. We sprinkled some glitter too. Thanks for sharing.
These are such fun! I love the crosses. How old is Tiny Tot now? She's looking oh so grown up in that first crafting picture. What a big girl!
SUSAN: she's about17mos now! I'm kind of bummed, she's definitely moving from baby to toddler! She loved being included in this though, always trying to keep up with the big kids.
Thank you so much for this sweet idea! I tried it with my tiny tot too (21 months) and she LOVED it! Our window looks beautiful now. Thanks so much for sharing such a sweet idea!Lindsaywww.homespunsprout.com
hooray – i needed a craft for our church creche for this Easter sunday – even the littlest ones can do this and it will be something the Moms and Dads will want to take home and put up – gorgeous!
I have done this same craft with transparencies, tissue, and glue. Simply cut out your shape from the clear transparency, paint the glue one and apply tissue squares! Great craft.
