Hey guys! I’m so excited to be releasing my very first quilt pattern! It’s called Vintage Christmas and hopefully you’ll love it as much as I do!
I mean who doesn’t love heading out to look for that perfect Christmas tree? This one was super fun to make, and fairly quick to put together too! I mixed a fun vintage truck with some super cute tree blocks.
The tree unit in the truck was probably the most challenging part, but it’s still a fairly easy and straight forward pattern to make.
For the front of the quilt I used a mix of fabrics from the Mistletoe Lane fabric by Bunny Hill Lane for Moda. This line is actually from last year but I know that Stitches N Giggles Etsy shop has some left! And it’s on clearance too!
For the backside I used the white snowflake print from Sweetwater’s Cookie Exchange fabric.
I went with a festive red binding as well because I love red binding! Check out the fabric requirements below to see what you’ll need to make this fun quilt!
And since it’s only July, you still have time to get this made in time for Christmas! Double Yay!
Finished quilt size: 69” x 74”

I am trying to purchase this pattern and it won’t let me. Do you know why? Thank Shelley
Hi Shelley, I’m sorry you’re having troubles. If you send me an email letting me know exactly what is going on I can help you more!
I just made the truck and it turned out wonderful. Your pattern is amazing. The directions are so clear. I wish all patterns were this easy to follow. I would love to post a picture but can’t see how to attach one
hello I have just started this adorable quilt but I don’t seem to get step 8, joining fabric P pieces to fabric 2 ? what is the fabric 2 piece ? xx
Check the cutting instructions and you’ll see fabric requirements for each piece.
I just received this pattern — thank you for such fast service!! Is it my imagination or is there some size discrepancy with the quilt shown in the photographs and the actual pattern?? The photo of the quilt has trees being quite a bit taller than the truck; however the pattern has everything all the same size in straight rows across. Am I crazy??
Hi Brenda,
The quilt in the photos is the exact same as what is in the pattern. The truck blocks have a white rectangle sewn to the top of them which makes them the same size as the tree blocks, you’ll see this if you go further through the pattern, I hope that makes sense.
How do I download the pdf file. I purchased today 10-13-19

I bought this pattern and I am working on the trees for the truck. Is there any hints or tricks you can advise on how to get all the HST’s to ling up?
Hi Frances,
Yes, make sure to trim them HSTs to the exact size so they line up better when sewing together 🙂
