This was a craft gone awry, I had planned on painting over doilies with a sponge like stenciling, but it didn’t work, so we just ended up painting the hearts instead! oh well, sometimes crafts don’t quite go as planned!
In the end everyone had a good time, so I’ll call that a success!
I have done this with the doiles as a stencil… I used dotters and did 3 or more hearts overlapped doing one at a time… they came out cool…
Thank you so much for your advice on curriculum! It is so hard to choose! I thank God for experienced homeschoolers like you to take the hands of us "newbies" and help us to take the plunge…Thanks so much for your time,Nickidaveandnickiskids.blogspot.com

What a cute craft in the end! Crafts do fall apart sometime. But usually they end up turning out in the end 🙂
I teach Art and love that you have a page about your projects. Try using tissue paper for color wheels, gluing them together the same way you did for the egs. It will give them a better sense of color mixing and color theory because it is based on light. One note, if you really get adventurous with this you can attain a number of blends that would be difficult to attain with paint because of the transparrency.
