Hi everyone! I’m so excited to release this new knit beanie pattern! I’m calling this The Haley Beanie after my oldest daughter who requested something soft, squishy and grey.
This one features a special design on the brim along with some fun cables on the hat and of course we can’t forget the fun faux fur pom on top!
Even though it looks complicated this pattern is still fairly easy. I would categorize it as a beginner/intermediate level just because you need to know how to use a cable needle. But the instructions are very clear so as long as you know how to knit and purl you should be able to make this cute hat!
I used a soft tonal grey from HueLoco yarns and I love how it turned out!
I used a soft grey yarn held double for extra squish. I also added this fun faux fur pom pom that I got from my local yarn shop. If you’re in the area check out Colorful Yarns Knit shop! They always have a huge variety of fun poms!
And I want to give a special shout out to my lovely model for braving the cold wind just to get these pictures for you! Man it was chilly that day, but at least she had on a warm squishy cable knit hat right? LOL!
