Hi everyone! I really love living in Colorado because we really get to experience all four seasons here. While I tend to be excited for the start of each of them, I really have to say that fall is my absolute favorite. It’s still nice outside, but the air has a fresh crisp feeling to it. And don’t even get me started on all of the pumpkin spice stuff popping up in the stores!
This month is great for soups, crockpots, and meals that warm the belly! So here’s my 2016 October Monthly Meal Plan to help you get started!

I like to shop once a week, so I just make a list off of my menu plan and head to the store. I find that I spend less when I shop off of a list, then flying by the seat of my pants. I also end up with ingredients that will actually go together instead of a bunch of random items that don’t amount to anything.

I love your website!
I live in Colorado too and today was just perfect. I agree with us having all 4 seasons and 300 days of
Sunshine. I really enjoy your website for getting great ideas on homeschooling our only child (girl) and watching your youtube videos.
I love your monthly meal calendar and am considering buying the book. So I’m just curious on average how much do you spend on groceries? Thanks
