Day 11: Love cherishes
Husbands ought also love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it. Ephesians 5:28
TODAY’S DARE
What need does your spouse have that you could meet today? Can you run an errand? Give a back rub or foot massage? Is there housework you could help with? Choose a gesture that says, “I cherish you” and do it with a smile.
The Love Dare is a 40-day challenge for husbands and wives to understand and practice unconditional love. You can do it as a couple, or if your marriage is in trouble, do it as an individual, for your marriage, out of obedience to Christ. Each day has a challenging lesson on love, followed by a ‘dare’ for the day, and space to journal how it went. For more information visit Fireproof My Marriage
I would ask for you all to pray for us as we embark on this journey, and let me know if I can pray for you as well. Click here to start from Day 1!
If you’re participating in The Love Dare, I would love to hear from you! Add your link to our McLinky so we can all pray for each other!
I have loved reading all of these!!
You've inspired me! I just got my book and started today! I don't keep a public blog, but please keep us in your prayers too! 🙂 PS. I love your blog! I use an abbreviated workbox system with my5 and 3 year old and I like seeing what you use!
Thanks for share all this information, worksheets, links and ideas. I have a 2 years old baby and I´m using your activities to play and teach her since 2 weeks ago. Great job.
