Good morning everyone! As promised, I have a video review for you of the Kay Arthur Discover 4 Yourself Inductive Bible Studies for Kids series. These studies are great for kids grades 4-6. They cover a variety of Bible topics and passages and teach your kids how to study the Bible independently.
If your child hasn’t ever done a Bible study before you might want to start with the “How to Study Your Bible for Kids” book. It introduces your kids to the basics of how inductive Bible study works. And gives them an overview of people in the Bible, miracles, and adventures found in the Bible.
Each book includes directions as well as instructions for the students to complete as they go through the study so they are basically self contained. Students will be writing inside these books however, so you’ll need to purchase one per student.

I’m blessed to hear a woman of God, homeschool teacher lifting up the name of Jesus. It is so needed, and it’s also refreshing. And you can see. I hit the nail on the hammer when I found you on social media. Keep up the good work.
Do you use this as their Bible subject in school or as their own time with God?
Hi Erica! As a mom who enjoys doing Kay’s precept studies, it was great seeing you review the children’should study. I missed if you mentioned it, but do you recommend getting the teacher guides with these? I know the precept part is personal, but I wasn’t sure how much of the other items would require having it.
Thank you!
This is exactly what we are using for our Bible curriculum! We did the ones about how to pray and how to study your Bible last year, along with the series on the book of John! We are now doing the first book that studies the book of Revelation. My boys, ages 8 & 13 love these Bible studies!
Do you know what Bible version is used in these?
I just wanted to say I used this with my children many years ago.My younger son age 27 went through college. He said the fact that I did this Bible study with him really helped him not get messed up is college. So I highly recommend this series. He said it really helped him understand verses and what them meant. So that he could not be swayed into different teaching of people using verses out of context.
this is an interesting blog we homeeducate and were doing fine.
