Wow, I’m always amazed when a new year shows up. And I also typically wonder what the heck I was doing during the previous year that made it fly by so quickly.
If I had to venture a guess, I’d say I was probably busy homeschooling, blogging, and all of the other things that come with being a wife, mother, and homeschooler. So since I’m feeling all nostalgic and all…I thought it would be fun to take a quick look at our 2012 year in review.
This year…
Strawberry Shortcake turned 9! Turbo turned 8…Tinker Bell turned 6…and the Teeny Tot turned 4! Gasp…
And I turned…oh never mind.
Let’s just say I don’t like this aging thing at all! For me or the kiddos!
I wish they could stay babies forever. whaaa!
Okay sorry for that little outburst… to lighten the mood a bit, I thought it would be fun to see a list of my top 10 posts from 2012! Hope you enjoy!

I don’t like this aging business either. One of mine turned into an official adult this past year and I’m still in shock. I won’t even tell you how old that makes me.
Happy New Year!
Although I haven’t yet purchased any of your materials (my kids are 4, 2, 1 and on the way), your blog has been a huge encouragement to me. I do plan to homeschool and seeing what you are doing with your kids makes me excited for those future plans. It won’t be long until we are where you are now!
I love your blog so much! I don’t mind getting older. My 30s have been the best adult decade yet! My kids turned 10 (Jan b-day so he will be 11 in 17 days! EEP!), 9 (a newbie 9 since he has a Dec b-day), 6 and 3. It was amazing to have a double digit kiddo. Wasn’t it just yesterday I had become his mommy?? I turned 35 and loving it!
We also started a new therapy with our special needs son with much hope (who doesn’t love extra doses of hope) and we started the process of raising the funds ($8000+! Eep!) for a service dog for him. Huge step of faith for us,but exciting all the same. We also got a HUGE and very, very, very unexpected surprise when we discovered Baby #5 will debut in the spring. This baby shouldn’t have been conceived so I guess it has an amazing purpose 🙂
What a year! I am very much looking forward to what 2013 has to bring 🙂
Happy New Year to you and yours!
