Faux Fur Trimmed Pillow Sewing Tutorial

Hi friends and happy Tutorial Thursday! Since the holiday season is approaching I thought I would do a fun tutorial for these cute faux fur pom pom trimmed pillows! They’re very easy and fast to sew and they make great gifts! And of course I love that you can customize them for your home.

I chose this fun pom-pom trim, but you can use any trim you like using this same technique. My pillow finishes at 20″ x 20″ but you can customize it to fit any size you need and you can even make custom sized and shaped pillows as well. To make a custom shape just use pillow stuffing instead of an insert.

You Will Need:

• 3/4 Yard Faux Fur Fabric
• 80″ Pom Pom Trim (any decorative trim will work!)
• 20″ x 20″ Pillow Insert
• Rotary Trimmer
• Sewing Machine
• 50wt Cotton Thread

And that’s it, easy peasy! Now you can go make a bunch to decorate your home and have plenty left over for gifts too!
