Today we did one of our lessons from I Can Do All Things Art book.
We pulled out all of our “fall paint colors” and filled in the student workpage for the fall leaves.
They painted each leaf a different fall color then were asked to combine the colors on the larger leaves below to try and make a pretty fall leaf.
After the art project I sent the kids out to gather as many different colored leaves they could and we discussed a bit about the fall season. Then we came back in and watched the Pumpkin Patch Parable. I keep meaning to get this book but still haven’t, thanks Youtube!

I love the simple activity, and the connection of going outside and picking up some leaves. I invite you to daddy's time Friday on my blog. It's a way to show some love to our husbands for the time they expend with the children http://mytotlearningtime.blogspot.com/2010/10/letter-k-11-12-13-and-baby-school.html.Thanks for all your ideas and materials we are enjoing then so much. God bless you and your family.
Would you mind sharing the link to the leaf paint work? I like that. Thanks and Happy Birthday to your baby!
Rhonda: The link is at the top of the post, the book called "I can do all things" art book. You can also order student pages which are what you see the kids painting on. Here's the link to the book: http://amzn.to/2kvzg8E
Curious where you find your large bottles of washable tempera. I can only find small bottles of tempera at our craft stores.
I got the paints at Lakeshore Learning, we have one local, but you may be able to order online?
