Hi everyone! I have a super easy Canvas Tote Bag sewing tutorial to share with you today. This project is super beginner friendly and also really cute and handy!
I’m going to use this bag to house my knitting projects, but you can definitely customize it to fit your needs as well. This cute bag finishes at about 15″ x 15″ and is a great book bag, craft project bag, and school bag!

I used some plain canvas and then accented it with this super cute polka dot canvas from Robert Kaufman.
This bag has a large back pocket, and then two smaller front pockets to carry all of your goodies!
I also added a small inside pocket for even more storage!
I also added a fun drawstring top closure to keep all of your things secure inside of your bag.

Love the bag, the video and the instructions. Do you provide the cutting directions for free, if so I’m missing that. Or do I need to make a purchase?
Hi Judy, The video instructions are free (cutting info is listed below the video as well) You can also purchase the written PDF pattern here if you would prefer that: https://store.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89&products_id=538
So cute! I wonder how putting stabilizer in the outside fabric would be to make it have more structure?!
