I have a wonderful and very easy breakfast recipe for you today! This is a sausage & egg breakfast bake recipe that my mom usually makes for Christmas morning. Aside from the holiday memories it conjures up, one of my favorite things about this recipe is that you make it the day before, then in the morning simply pull it out and bake! It’s a great help on school mornings!

Is there a way to pin this?
This is very similar to a recipe we use (we leave out the mushrooms). It was my grandmother’s recipe that she passed down. Our family enjoys it every Christmas morning because I can make it the night before and slide it in the oven while the kiddos are opening presents Christmas morn. Since everyone has worked up an appetite while unwrapping presents, this is an easy crowd pleaser.
Thanks for sharing!
Great recipe, thank you! Love that I can make it the night before.
Kelly, you should put the “pin it” button on your browser or in your bookmarks. Go here: http://pinterest.com/about/goodies/ and at the top of the page it has the “pin it” info. 🙂
This looks so yummy. Thanks for the post. I actually have the ingredients. I may just make this tomorrow morning. Thank you.

Looks good! This will be the perfect Christmas morning breakfast dish. Thanks.
Perfect early morning winter dish! Love that you can just pop in in the oven in the morning – I need more recipes like this! Thanks, Erica! ♥
We tried this recipe the other day. Four out five us wanted more! Thanks for the recipe.
This is a lot like the one we make, only I have lined the bottom of the pan with croissant dough. This looks WAY easier! Thanks so much!!!
They are among the most commonly eaten fruits in the households.
Now just sprinkle brown sugar on top and your banana bread recipe is finished.
Scoop out only what you need each morning and microwave.
