Hi Erica, for the drawstring bag, if I wasn’t going to do patchwork pieces and just use a piece of fabric, what size would I cut my fabric to? Thanks so much
The completed patchwork section is 4.5″ x 12.5″
Thank you for sharing. This tutorial really walked me through the process very easily. I enjoyed making the bag!
Since this is a bag, should I prewash the precuts for this project? Thanks!
Hi Heather,
I only pre-wash fabrics when I’m making clothing to account for shrinkage. When making bags, quilts, and other non-clothing items, I never pre-wash my fabric.
Thanks for a great easy to follow pattern. Really enjoyed making this project for a friends birthday.
