CVC Funny Words Phonics Flip Chart

Need help practicing CVC words? My CVC Funny Words Flip Chart is just the ticket!

I have this fun and easy printable that you can incorporate into your homeschooling, or just add in for extra practice! We call it CVC Funny words because you can make some super funny words just by flipping around and making up words. It’s a great way to practice letter sounds and basic CVC blending!

I printed and laminated, then used a file folder for the base. I folded both sides in half way and glued the sides together to form a triangle shape (like when you fold in a lapbook).

To play:

1. Cut out the letter tiles and hole punch where indicated.
2. Using 3 key rings, bind the letters together to make a flip chart.
3. Have your student flip the letters to make funny words.

There are actual word ideas on the back cover of the booklet, but I also encourage you to let them try to blend together whatever letters they flip to. It’s more fun, and gives students great practice blending letter sounds together.
