Hi everyone! I wanted to do something fun and unusual today, so I made a homeschool room tour video to share with you all!
I’m so sorry, it turned out kind of long, so I had to break it up into two parts. But for those of you interested in seeing our room “live” so to speak, grab a cup of coffee (you’ll need it to stay awake) and join me on a tour of our homeschool room!
Also, keep in mind this is my first real video…um. yeah…just keep that in mind ;o) and it ended up being really long! Sorry I’ll try to talk less in future videos LOL!

Was that handcuffs I saw under the desks? Now we know how you get your kids to stay on task, LOL!
What a great, detailed tour of your classroom! Thank you so much for sharing. I followed your link to the Ikea curtain wire (we NEED something like this), but I was wondering what you use to attach your kids’ art to the curtain wire. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
wow- thanks for the insight- will have to go thru this all soon!
I am so glad you did this. After two days of rearranging our school room I was running out of energy. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Thanks so much! I loved the post!
Do you have a link to the daily grammar cards pocket chart thing?
Looks like it is discontinued. http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/product/productDet.jsp?productItemID=1%2C689%2C949%2C371%2C899%2C012&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181113&bmUID=1357910997987
Hit the send button to soon. It appears to have been replaced with, http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/product/productDet.jsp?productItemID=1%2C689%2C949%2C371%2C927%2C983&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181113&bmUID=1357911111805
Thanks Travis; I was looking for the daily language station and noticed it had been discontinued. Guess I’ll have to make up my own dry-erase daily language cards…
thanks. what a bummer!
This is one of the BEST posts you could’ve done!! I LOVE IT! Being a visual person, it really helps to actually see the organizational process here, especially as I’m trying to figure out what my homeschool room will look like and how much storage space I should have.
Loved the video – not at all too long!!
Wondering if you could share more details on those 2 documents that are to the left of your computer desk? I think 1 is a copy of each child’s schedule and the other was (I believe) your daily lesson plans.
Thanks!
Loved the videos…thanks so much for taking the time to make them:0)
Thanks so much – the videos were great!!! It’s so nice to get a glimpse into another homeschool room!
Do you happen to have the link for the JoAnn’s version of those stackable storage bins on your IKEA unit? Or even the name they go by at JoAnn’s? I would love to re-organize our manipulatives this way!
I LOVE your blog. I found your website via pinterest and bought your pre-k cd and LOVE it. I love the visual of your room and how you organized it! You are wonderful and I was not bored at all! I’m a teacher and tempted to quit and stay home to homeschool my own kids. Time will tell:). The more I follow your blog, the more I want to! Love what you’re doing with your kids, you are truly fabulous and I aspire to be like you:).
