As usual their set comes with two fun readers as well as an interactive student workbook to accompany the lesson plans. I’ve had several people ask if they need to order the teacher’s manual and the answer is “YES!” you do need the teacher’s manual, along with the student workbook, reading cards, and student books.
We’re excited to try this new level out, TinkerBell will be the one working on it and she’s super excited anytime she see’s the fun worksheets that go with these lessons!
As I mentioned we’ll be doing a more formal review here coming soon, but I didn’t want anyone whose been waiting for this new level to miss out on the sale!

Curious- how long do you spend each day with this spelling?
We use All About Spelling (the post is about the Reading program, though) and it takes us about 20 minutes a day. My 7 year old just started Level 3. We are in LOVE with this program!
Hi Brittany,
I agree with Amber, it usually takes us about 20 minutes to do AAS or AAR.
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate access to all your great stuff.
Eric can you please let us know in your review, if level three has more comprehension questions about the stories. I am doing level 1 and I find that the comprehension questions are a bit lacking. Otherwise we love the program. Thanks and blessings to you!
Hi Meghan,
Yes, they do more and more comprehension activities as the levels progress. Level 1 is focused more on decoding and getting the kids actually reading the words. After that, they start to focus more on the comprehension. If you’d like to see Teacher’s Manual samples, they can all be found on this page: http://www.allaboutlearningpress.com/reading-lesson-samples/
Just wondering if you think level 3 is a necessity or just extra practice. We are working on AAR2 right now, and he’s reading/decoding really well. I wasn’t expecting there to be a 3rd Level, or spending over $300 total on reading alone.
Thanks for your input. 🙂
So, have been anxiously waiting to read a review of this new level and have not seen anything yet (month after new level is out). Have you been using it? If so, what do you think?
