Hi everyone! I’m super excited to release my Vintage Fall quilt pattern today! I’ve had so many requests for a fall quilt and I love how this one turned out! And I have a GIVEAWAY for one of you so make sure to read all the way to the bottom!
Fall always makes me think of falling leaves with all of the beautiful changing colors, apple cider, crisp cool air, and an annual trip to the pumpkin patch. And so I really wanted my vintage trucks to be hauling cute little pumpkins along with some fun fall foliage!
I used Farm House II fabric by Figtree for Moda. I also snuck in a few prints from their original Farm House line that I have been saving for a special project.
Vintage Fall Quilt Kit: Catching Stitches quilt shop has generously made Vintage Fall Quilt Kits as well if you’d like to make the same one I did! Make sure to stop by her shop and check it out!
And of course I used my Alphabitties to help keep all of the pieces for this project organized.
For the binding I used the Farm House II black cross print and love the pop it gives!
I also chose to do a swirl quilting pattern on it. It reminds me of falling leaves! I’m not a professional quilter, so the pattern isn’t perfect, but honestly, I love how it turned out, and love the imperfect and random swirls!
And of course, I added a lot of pumpkins to this quilt, because, what is fall without vintage trucks carting around pumpkins?
I also did a fun row of leaf sashing between the truck rows. I love the added colors and the little leaves are a perfect fall addition.

Love love the vintage truck on this quilt. Colors are wonderful.
Purchased this pattern and made it in fall colors but having some trouble with the tree blocks to match up with truck blocks… are there any corrections in this pattern? Thank you!
Hi Rosann, no there aren’t any corrections at this time, double check all of your measurements it’s been made quite a few times so I believe it’s accurate.
Hi – I purchased a pattern and was told there is an error in the ‘O’ piece. Do you have an updated page to download so I can keep the pattern together with the correct measurement? Thanks!
Hi Ann, If you purchased the download, just email me and we can reactivate your download links so you can print the corrected page.
I made mine 2.5 on O.
Hi, the cutting instructions are correct, the graphic illustration is just off, I’m getting it updated 🙂
Hi Erica…I really like watching you with all that energy! The truck items are just precious….and can’t wait for the school bus to come.. Quilting has been my life! I’m 85 and still going strong and addicted to this wonderful craft…
