Happy November! I’m so excited to release my new 12 Days of Stitchy Ornaments collection!
These ornaments are perfect for beginners, and a ton of fun too! The pattern, combined with these adorable little embroidery hoops, and floss set would make a great gift idea as well! And they are a perfect accompaniment to my 12 Days of Quilty Ornaments too!

I used 14-count white Aida with two strands of DMC floss. But you can substitute in any fabric and floss you prefer.
Materials Needed:
- Cloth (14 count white Aida, you will need a 15″ x 20″ piece)
- DMC Floss (See DMC list included with pattern)
- Size 26 tapestry needle
- Finishing: 3″ Embroidery Hoops and 3/8″ decorative ribbon
- DMC Floss Recommended – 1 Skein Each of 5200, 3862, 498, 470, 472, 598, 761, 745, 844
The stitch count for each ornament is 28 x 28, and they finish at approximately 2-1/2″ each if stitched using the called for fabric.
The samples are stitched on 14-count white Aida cloth with DMC floss.
It has an easy-to-read color-symbol chart. You can view it digitally if you’d like, or print it for ease of use.

Of course, they look adorable hanging alongside my 12 Days of Quilty Ornaments. I put up this fun flocked pencil tree in my sewing room and now it’s decorated with all kinds of quilty and stitchy goodies!

Hi Erica,
Yes, I purchased the 12 days of Christmas and completed them all. These will be donated to our church group to give to the residents of the nursing home. Every resident is to receive a gift. At this point, it will be next Christmas.
I would love to see you design The 12 days of Christmas 2. It would be so awesome if there was a manger with baby Jesus, another with Mary, another with Joseph, more with the 3 kings, and of course an angel, maybe a star, and a cow, sheep, and pig.
I would be your first customer. Thanks so much.
Thanks so much, I’ll keep that idea in mind!
would love to see the names of Jesus each on an ornament!
